SUMMER CAMP 2009 NEWS: We will be offering something new and exciting this summer! Our camps will run 6 consecutive weeks starting July 6, ending August 14th. Each week will have an exciting theme for ages 5 & up! Where? Discovery elementary music department: 730 Applewilde Drive 92078.
Summer Weeks & Themes (which will play through all music, theater and touch on some drawing & craft classes).
July 6-10 AMERICAN SPIRIT: Let's Get Patriotic
July 13-17 UNDER THE SEA: Mermaids, Sharks & Sea Creatures
July 20-24 JUNGLE SAFARI: Lions, Zebras & Elephants
July 27-31 ROCK STAR: Hannah Montana & Jonas Brothers
August 3-7 AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS: Japan, India, South Africa, Brazil, and Mexico
August 10 - 14 HAWAIN ISLAND ADVENTURE: Tropical Fever & Luau
Fabulous Class Choices for the 6 weeks: (classes are offered all 6 weeks at the time slots below unless otherwise noted.
930-1030 Karate wk 1, 3, 5/Dance wk 2, 4, 6 OR Drumming wk 2, 4, 6/Recorder wk 1, 3, 5
1050-1130 Recorder wk 2, 4, 6/Drumming wk 1, 3, 5 OR Drawing
1200-1230 Craft OR Piano
1230-130 Musical Theater OR *Sports/organized physical play
130-230 *workshop for all children (see details below)
*WORKSHOP HOUR: (subject to change up until April 15th)
Monday - Kyle of Drawing Secrets Revealed (Week 1, 4, 5, 6, 7) The Amazing Dana Magic Show (Week 2, 3)
Tuesday - Radical Reptiles & Animals Week 1, 3, 5/Science Lab Week 2, 4, 6
Wednesday - Instrument Petting Zoo with Ms. Moody (flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, french horn, baritone horn)
Thursday - Sculpture/Art 4 Children
Friday - Performance
*$1.00 ticket per audience member (children enrolled in camp do not pay)
*DVD of rehersal & perf $7.00 each
*Piano, drumming, recital before Friday theater performance is optional for children taking theses classes (MWF children only)
12:30-1:30 Sports = Week 1 & 4: Flag Football, Week 2 & 5 Basketball, Week 3 $ 6: Soccer
We except walk-in & online registrations all thru-out camp! Walk in time: 800-1030AM or from 130-230PM.
Camp Costs:
Camp Programs: Full week $179, Mon/Wed/Fri $109, Tues/Thurs $89 - Camp costs includes a 9:30-2:30 day
Extended care available 8AM-3PM at $5.00 per hour.
Healthy Lunch Program: $5 per day or $20 per week - otherwise children must bring a healthy lunch & water bottle. NO CANDY or TOYS may be brought to camp.

About Art 4 Children: Wow, what an amazing summer 2008. We had 60 returning families and 80 new families for a total of 675 weeks registered! We were serving up to 45 children in 3 amazing classes every hour for 10 weeks. What inspiring feedback we received from you all! Thank you so much for being a part of Art 4 Children & validating what we do. We can't wait to see your kids in another upcoming camp!
We are parents and teachers who created our day
camp programs from scratch, offering families everything the other guys don't.
We started day camps in 2003 for children ages 5 & up, although we were dreaming about it many years before. Our camps were created in
the light of all the things we noticed the other camp companies were missing. Low staff
ratio, qualified & CARING teachers, class variety, affordable prices and the BEST
customer service you could imagine.
And guess what? The camp
creators & business owners are with your children, greeting you and your child,
teaching the classes and are on site the entire camp day! Our own children are in
attendance! And we are available to address all your concerns - even the questions like
"Did my child eat their lunch?" or "How did they do today?" How many
camps can offer you what we can?
Chances are you heard about us and that's why you're here...or you found us online, or
your child brought home a flier. Either way, you can trust your children are in the best
