SUMMER 2011:
Thanks for an amazing summer!! Thanks for the great feedback and welcome new Art 4 Children families and a special thanks to our long time returning families!
We're changing our format for Summer 2011! We will still be offering our traditional camps, but mixed into the 8 weeks of fun will be camps for older kids: tweens & teens camp, art, music, band & color guard. For the six to nine year olds, we've got theater, sculpture, girl power, sports, science & animals specialty camps! For the For the little ones, we've developed an kinder prep camp for 4-5 year olds, with a focus in music, art or both. Take a look below for all the basic information on our camps. More detailed class descriptions will follow as we get closer to summer. We are taking limited enrollment in all our camps (15 children each program) so we anticipate filling up each camp program rather quickly and maybe even before our fliers hit the schools. Registration will open Jan 15th pending confirmation of our camp location in San Marcos. AND OF COURSE we will have CIT (counselor in training) programs with fabulous discounts and perks available to children that will be at least 10 years of age and have attended at least one camp week in the past. CIT spots will surely fill up fast and returning CITs have priority!
You get to hear it first (all camp dates and concepts are subject to change until Jan 15th 2011) Also, some more camps (traditional and specialty) will be added as we see how enrollment goes thru the late Spring.

What inspiring feedback we received from you all! Thank you so much for being a part of Art 4 Children & validating what we do. We can't wait to see your kids in another upcoming camp!
We are parents and teachers who created our day
camp programs from scratch, offering families everything the other guys don't.
We started day camps in 2003 for children ages 5 & up, although we were dreaming about it many years before. Our camps were created in
the light of all the things we noticed the other camp companies were missing. Low staff
ratio, qualified & CARING teachers, class variety, affordable prices and the BEST
customer service you could imagine.
And guess what? The camp
creators & business owners are with your children, greeting you and your child,
teaching the classes and are on site the entire camp day! Our own children are in
attendance! And we are available to address all your concerns - even the questions like
"Did my child eat their lunch?" or "How did they do today?" How many
camps can offer you what we can?
Chances are you heard about us and that's why you're here...or you found us online, or
your child brought home a flier. Either way, you can trust your children are in the best
care when they are not with you. We would not have it any other way. Hope to see you and
your children soon!

After School Program News for 2010-11: San Elijo & Discovery
For the upcoming 2010-2011 school year Art 4 Children will be co-coordinating with Fit Kids America owner, Joan Gambill. I have known & have worked with Joan for 5+ years & she has been in this business for over 13 years and teaching for over 30 years. She runs several after school programs and coordinates several classes at San Elijo run by her own company (Jr. Jazzercise, La Cross, Flag Football etc). To help ease the workload for myself, Fit Kids America will be processing, confirming & collecting payments on all registrations for the next school year. I will serve as a continued school & parent liaison & will maintain an active roll promoting & maintaining our programs for the school year as well as observing teachers & seeking feedback so we can continue to improve our programs. Other than that, no changes will take place - prices will remain the same & fliers will look the same for now - and we will be offering several of the same classes and some new awesome classes! I will also still be teaching several classes as usual next year.
