Common questions about our camps
Do you have family
references?
Certainly. Give us a call
and we will gladly give you some names and numbers! Feel free to read some Testimonials.
How long have you
been running camps?
This is our 7th year running day camps. Jessica, the owner has been in the camp business for 20 years. We have nearly 80% return of families because our camps
change each season, so kids don't get bored. Our prices are competative with other camps
your child may have tried but keep in mind we have a lower staff ratio and have teacher
directed activities and classroom structure all day.
Will my kids be
doing real art? What is the overall experience of the staff? What is the camp atmosphere
like? etc...
Absolutely will they be
doing REAL ART! We are known for providing a challenging & creative atmosphere! We
are not your run-of-the-mill camp. Your kids come home with projects they are proud of. We
do everything from tie-dye, canvas painting, cartooning & ceramics to sewing, baking
& macrame. We take your kids way back into the art & music world, teaching them
about theory, composers, master artists and technique. We also show them the simple ways
they can create art from things at home! All our art supplies are of the finest quality.
All our teachers have been
teaching for a minimum of 5 years and we deeply care about children, music & art...and
everything in between. We encourage independence, self-confidence and self praise. We
encourage you to be a part of their experience when you pick them up. You will see a big
smile on their face as they run to you to show you what they did!
What do they during extended camp?
Reading, play games or helping us with prep if they want to.
Whatever the case, your child will be having fun and getting to know the
other awesome kids that attend our camps. Our extended camp kids usually look forward to
this part of the day because it's more relaxed with less children and class changes. We
also have awesome kid-sized chess boards so they can teach us right brain art teachers a
thing or two!

What if my child
is unhappy in the camp? Can we have a refund?
Although it would be hard to believe your child wouldn't enjoy such a
great camp, we understand that some children have fears and resistance to new challenges
and environments.
We ask that you let your child participate or observe for 3 days. If at
that time, they are unhappy and do not wish to return we will give you a refund less $35 per week admin fee.
What if
something comes up and we can't attend but paid a deposit?
Unfortunately we do not offer deposit refunds. The deposit let's us know
to expect your child in attendance and supplies and a space is provided for them in
advance.
